Our Story
Farmer Built
It all started in 2012 on a small farm in the Colorado foothills. Husband and wife team Ian and Janine Russell needed a to find easy to use and reliable software to help them manage and optimize their bio-diverse livestock, crop and herb farm. Coming up empty in their search, they decided to build Farmbrite, for their own needs and then to help more support others who want to get started in and succeed in agriculture.
Leveraging decades of software development experience, a passion for technology, agriculture and sustainability has inspired us to create Farmbrite - an easy to use, cost effective, complete farm management software platform which help farmers and ranchers be more organized, sustainable and successful. ​

Farmbrite is completely self funded and runs solely on it's own profits. With no outside investors or interests the only people we are accountable to is our customers.
