Frequently
asked questions
Can I import my climate or weather data?
Yes, you can easily import data into Farmbrite through a variety of methods, including using our easy to use import wizard to import CSV or Excel data or by integrating other systems directly into Farmbrite to automatically add or update your records.
Does Farmbrite integrate with weather stations?
We do not have direct integrations with weather stations, but we do support integrations through Zapier or with our API. Learn more about our integration options. The most common way that people integrate data from their weather stations is by doing a weekly or monthly export of the weather station and importing it into custom climate gauge logs in their Farmbrite account.
Can I record data from my local weather stations?
Absolutely. You can create as many custom climate gauges as you want to keep track of precipitation, temperature, CO2 levels, humidity, moisture, wind, light levels and more. You can use these to track farm microclimates or climate controlled areas like barns, stables, chicken coops, etc.
What countries does Farmbrite support for historic weather data and satellite imagery?
Currently Farmbrite leverage data from US Government agencies. For the most part the historic weather data and satellite imagery that is available is only available in the United States. Historic weather data and satellite mapping imagery provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and NASA EOSDIS GIBS. Data for some dates or locations may not be available.
